Hello and welcome to Periwinkle and Clay! I’m Claire and I live in Thatcham, Berkshire with my husband and my daughter.

Periwinkle and Clay was born in 2012 when I was looking for a unique gift for my sister using Instagram photos of her baby daughter. I love working with clay, and had the idea to put some of her favourite Instagram photos onto clay tiles as keepsakes and so the very first Periwinkle and Clay photo tile was born! Periwinkle and Clay is run from our family home, creating unique handmade ceramic photo tiles, decorations and gifts. Designs are focused on celebrating family connections and special moments.

All designs are fully customised using your photos and memories. I love creating pieces that are truly unique and sentimental, something special that the recipient will smile at in their home.


Mama Tip

What I've learnt most about running my own creative business is that it is REALLY important to make time to have FUN, lots of it! so that you can play and experiment – this is when the magic really happens!
