Origami Artwork is my enjoyment, relaxation and a channel for my creativity. It became my business during maternity leave in 2012 when I first exhibited my work in a local exhibition and it sold out!

Japanese art, tradition and culture have been a big influence on me and this work began in 2000 when I travelled there during my Fine Art degree, then lived and worked there, to now. With two young children, my paper folding is my peace, my meditation, my 'me' time. I have always been a hard worker so every evening is a new opportunity to make new work, or fold a palette of origami colours ready for a composition.

My children don't quite understand, but will see my work on exhibition, point and say 'mummy'!! They are my motivators and it started because of them.
