The idea of the Carddies came about by chance…when Raquel started making little cardboard people and animals for her girls to colour in (Esther and Raquel used to make little cardboard dolls themselves as children). It didn't occur to Raquel initially that the idea of Carddies could have such wide appeal...
So perhaps one tip is that simply being a mum can give you ideas of how to make life with children a bit more fun/creative, and that children are the best guides of what will work well as a product.
Carddies Sports
Carddies Sports has a variety of sports children to be coloured in: a rower, a basketball player, a show jumper, gymnast, a wheelchair racer and more…The scene is a stadium with a cheering crowd –lots of little faces to be coloured in! (including a cheeky hidden dog!)
Carddies, the Card People to Colour and Go, are lovely sets of Card People who live in a box: children can colour them in, give them names, make up their stories, and bring them to life.
Each Carddies set includes 12 colouring pencils, 12 figures with stands and a backdrop, all inside a sliding box. The toy is self-contained, very portable and made from premium card: perfect for keeping children amused on any journey or outing, or for play time at home.
